About Mrs. Congdon

Welcome to 4th grade!  My name is Mrs. Congdon and I am so excited to be your teacher this year!  We are going to have so much fun getting to know each other and learning together!  This is my second year teaching 4th grade at SJS, and I am so exicted to be back!

This is my 3rd year teaching at St. Joseph School.  I taught kindergarten my first year here and 4th grade last year!  I have many years of experience teaching elementary grades in different settings from PreK all the way up to 5th grade.  SJS has a very special place in my heart as I did my student teaching here!  I am so glad that I found my way back.  It feels like I am at home.

I went to SUNY Geneseo where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I went on to earn my Master's Degree from Nazareth College in Students with Disabilities and Childhood Education.  I am certified to teach both general and special education ages birth-6th grade.

I live in Victor with Mr. Congdon and our 2 kids.  Kinley is 10 and is in 5th grade!  Sean is 8 and is in 3rd grade!  Kinley and Sean attend the same school that I did when I was in school, Victor Central School!  We also have a very naughty dog, Penny.  You will hear a lot of stories about my family throughout the year.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and I love hockey and baseball!  I am a huge Buffalo Sabres and Atlanta Braves fan!  This summer we went to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to watch the Braves play! Kinley and Sean keep us busy with gymnastics baseball and soccer!  We have been spending a lot of time in our pool this summer!

I can't wait to learn more about you when we meet in September!
